Roads to Women’s Economic Recovery and Future

How can New York support women’s equitable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and create long lasting change? NYS Attorney General Letitia James and PowHer™ New York to explored the progress made to-date and the new challenges ahead for women’s economic stability.

Experts discussed historic pay inequity in low-wage jobs, the devaluing of women’s work, new opportunities for higher wage jobs, and policies to increase employer accountability and transparency. All of these solutions can profoundly influence the economic well-being of women, especially women of color, in the recovery and beyond.
