Last Thursday, a standing room only audience heard testimony from experts, advocates, business leaders and workers at a Pay Equity Hearing in New York City. The hearing was sponsored by the NYC Commissions on Gender Equity and Human Rights and the Department of Consumer & Worker Protection as a public forum and opportunity to learn about ways to close the wage and opportunity gap in the city.
