#POWHERList: A Welcome from Beverly Neufeld

I want to share some exciting news. For Women’s Equality Day – the day U.S. women finally secured the right to vote – NYS PowHER is launching an interactive, election season campaign to educate and energize citizens and candidates about women’s economic equality.

 Please check out the #POWHERLIST and I hope you and your organization will get involved from the start. This statewide effort to accelerate change builds on the goals and supports the work of the Equal Pay Coalition NY, Women’s Equality Coalition and other great work going on around the state.  Click here to sign up!

@POWHERLIST CAMPAIGN  On Women’s Equality Day, NYS PowHER is launching the #POWHERLIST Campaign to spotlight the need for increased economic opportunity and fairness for New York women and families.

The #POWHERLIST  proposes a dozen issues that must be addressed to create economic equality including: Fair wages  Retirement Security ▪ Better Job Opportunities ▪ Affordable Education ▪ Safe, Family Friendly Workplaces ▪ Flexible Schedules ▪ Childcare ▪ Reproductive Options ▪ Close the Wage Gap ▪ Caregiver’s pay ▪ Access to Capital ▪ Women’s Voices at the Table.

Tell us your priorities and ask electoral candidates “WHAT’s ON YOUR LIST?” to create economic equality! Public responses, background information, and campaign activities will be shared online at www.NYSPowHER.org
