Black Women’s Equal Pay: Karen Coronel

Days of action are effective in reminding people the inequity that lies ahead for Black women today, but Latinas in November. We need to support effective and comprehensive equal pay policies at the local, state and federal level to ensure that WoC get the pay they deserve. Wage transparency for all employment needs to no longer be taboo, and be a minimum requirement to ensuring equity in the workplace. Let’s be sure to continue to hold our elected officials accountable to us, to women, especially Women of Color. Together, we can champion equal pay policies and the women and WoC elected’s and candidates who want to support women, every day.
